From Overripe To Overflowing: Joselyne's Rise

Joselyne Ndihokubwayo is a member of IMFURA Incubator, the very first incubator of Rapha Global Wells (RGW) through the ITOTO Project.

Before joining RGW, my life felt like an overripe banana—unstable, fragile, and falling apart under the slightest pressure. I was overwhelmed by emotional trauma, constant financial struggles, and the pain of seeing my children without school supplies. I saw no light at the end of the tunnel. To make matters worse, my husband was imprisoned, turning my daily life into what felt like a never-ending, painful soap opera.

Then RGW stepped into my life—like a candle in the darkness, or a warm cup of tea on a cold, rainy day.

Through RGW’s teachings on emotional management and character building, I learned how to regain control of my emotions and confront life with calm and clarity. I learned to put my anxieties aside, to respond instead of reacting, and to live in peace. Today, I can confidently say that I have mastered peaceful cohabitation—and even my hypertension has improved. Fewer doctor visits, more inner peace.

But the transformation did not stop there.

After a period of intense prayer with RGW, something miraculous happened: my husband was released from prison. It felt like Christmas had come early. Hope returned to our home, and healing began.

Thanks to the economic and entrepreneurship training I received, I started small businesses selling charcoal and ripe bananas. Today, I manage these activities with confidence, discipline, and pride—and yes, I am making a profit. I am no longer just surviving; I am building.

RGW helped me turn a broken chapter into a new beginning. My story has shifted from despair to hope, from chaos to structure, from survival to vision.

Today, I dream bigger. I aspire to connect with microcredit institutions to expand my activities even further. Who knows? Tomorrow, I may even be selling eco-friendly charcoal.

Thank you, Rapha Global Wells, for restoring dignity, rebuilding lives, and transforming stories like mine. You didn’t just change my situation—you changed my future.
